Many women suffer in silence during pregnancy and postpartum period. It's okay to not be okay! Not every pregnancy is a blissful experience, especially if there is unresolved trauma surfacing. In therapy, women will learn how to manage their emotions, make room for the baby, and increase their support.
Children & Teens
Children have difficulties conveying their big feelings and often there is a mismatch between their feelings and behaviors. Therapy can help your child learn how to express and regulate their emotions in a healthy way. By developing coping skills, children will learn how to handle challenges in the future. Behavior Consultations: Addresses mental health concerns by providing short-term solutions, patient education, resources, and referrals.
Developmental Consultations: Addresses concerns regarding developmental delays by providing screeeners, patient education, resources, and referrals for parents.
Peer Consultation and Supervision
Peer Consultation: Peer consultation is offered to other practitioners who are interested in seeking solution-focused feedback. We utilize case presentations and focus on clinical reasoning, transference, countersference and any risk evalutions.
Supervision: Pre-licensed counselors and licensed counselors and who are seeking clinical supervision hours.
