Dr. Terry Gomez, LMHC-D
Founder
Dr. Terry Gomez is a bilingual Latina clinician with a PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Developmental Disorders, along with a graduate certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Diagnostic Privilege in New York State and is nationally certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy. She is also trained in EMDR and Interpersonal Therapy, with a clinical foundation that is trauma-informed and attachment-based.
Since 2020, Dr. Gomez has dedicated her work to supporting children and families impacted by trauma and walking alongside new parents as they navigate the transition into parenthood. She is passionate about early intervention and committed to serving vulnerable populations through culturally responsive and spiritually grounded care. Her professional experience includes serving as a Perinatal Mental Health Consultant for New York City hospitals and currently as the Administrative Director of an Early Childhood Program in Upper Manhattan. With over 15 years of experience across diverse roles and settings, she integrates clinical expertise, cultural understanding, and faith-based compassion in her practice.
Dr. Gomez’s private practice offers a holistic approach to mental health, honoring the emotional, relational, and spiritual needs of the entire family system.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Gomez enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, staying active, traveling, and exploring local coffee shops.
Lucrezia Zanca
Clinical Supervisor
Lucrezia is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Science in Education from Hunter College. She began her career as a preschool teacher in both general and special education settings, and has since devoted her work to supporting young children and their families through a developmental and relational lens. Lucrezia holds Diagnostic Privilege as an LMHC and is certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
Her clinical background includes roles as a trauma therapist and mental health consultant in the Early Childhood Mental Health Network, as well as a pediatric outpatient clinician. Lucrezia collaborates closely with caregivers, families, and pediatricians to better understand children's behaviors and the non-verbal ways they communicate their needs. She provides dyadic therapy to caregivers and young children, leads parent groups, and helps families navigate and access vital community resources and mental health services.
